作品〈無限生命〉展於德國漢堡市政廳前。

漢堡市政廳，一座充滿故事的建築，而市政大樓前的市政廳廣場是漢堡市的指標性廣場，從未開放藝術家到此處展覽。由於德國竹友會的努力，在當地市政府多次會議討論後，第一次向藝術打開了大門。

這是為什麼呢? 漢堡市一直以來作為歐洲的重要港口，也是德國的海運中心，市旗是一座城門，人們稱它為通往世界的大門。而康木祥的作品所傳達的理念是「一條連結世界的鋼纜」，以重生的鋼纜向世界宣達和平、環保的理念。這樣的理念與漢堡市政府所要表達的思想不謀而合，因此特別為藝 術家破例，將康木祥的作品在市政廳廣場展出。

A building filled with stories, Hamburg City Hall, along with the town square out front, are iconic landmarks of Hamburg. Artists had never exhibited their works there previously. Thanks to the German Freundeskreis Bambusrunde association, Hamburg City Hall opened its doors to art for the first time, after several meetings and discussions with the local municipal government.

Why did this happen? Hamburg, the shipping center of Germany, has always been an important European port. The Hamburg flag depicts a city gate, and people refer to the city as a gateway to the world. The concept behind Kang Muxiang's sculpture is "A steel cable that connects the world." Through recycled steel cable, he promotes the ideals of peace and environmental protection. These concepts coincide with ideas esteemed by the Hamburg city government, so they made an exception for Kang to exhibit his work in the square.
